Is there AGE DISCRIMINATION in indigos cadet pilot program

Upper age limit is 32 years in an cadet but despite this fact airline tends to prefer younger candidate. For eg. I am 27 and aspire to be inducted in the cadet program but a 19 year old will be more prefered over me cz I might have some preconceived notions on things and therefore less adaptable. Well if that's the case, any advice for me ? Also, people in cadet. Have you seen people above my age to be inducted as cadets in Indigo. If so can you share what actually matters and what can I do in my power to make the odds favour me?
