Need help in claiming Digit insurance (domestic flight delay)
TLDR : Flight from Hyd to Bom was delayed by \~2 hr 40minutes, I had insurance from GoDigit against delay - have been trying to claim it - GoDigit is running around in circles Hello All, As it says above, flight was 6E5039 - was scheduled to take off at 1840 - but was delayed and finally took off at 2125 I filed a claim with GoDigit - but they open a new email thread everytime and keep asking me for 'delay message' from the airline and 'updated boarding pass' The emails are in the form of a template and no one answers questions I raise. I think it is a tactic to deny / delay - so that I give up Also - 1. The Insurance policy does not state clearly the exact delay after one is eligible for the claim - can anyone help me with this - the policy I have is GoDigit On the Move policy [https://www.godigit.com/content/dam/godigit/directportal/en/downloads/Digit%20On%20The%20Move%20Policy.pdf](https://www.godigit.com/content/dam/godigit/directportal/en/downloads/Digit%20On%20The%20Move%20Policy.pdf) 2. I have a few airline messages that that state that there has been a delay - and they have changed the departure time twice - first to 1940 and then to 2005 (I got these messages after I had already reached the airport) - the flight finally took off at 2125 3. I don't have a message telling me the actual departure time of 2125 - although that is verifiable on websites like flight radar - does Ditto expect proof of exact flight take off time - where can I get some data that is legally admissible ? 4. What does Ditto mean by updated boarding pass ? : Do they want something that says the exact departure time (i.e. 2125 and not 1840) - is that even possible 5. What recourse I have to raise it - is there a special govt website where I can raise a dispute ?3
