Help a girl understand localities please

I am moving from another city and I’m not familiar with the localities in Delhi I wanted to stay in Saket as my work place is there and brokers have been showing me ridiculous dungeon like houses for sky high prices They showed me some slightly nicer houses in ignou road / neb Sarai / freedom fighters enclave but I don’t know how they are cheaper and nicer Something has to be a compromise there Is is safe for a single woman ? Are these areas okay to move in? Is the crowd okay? Any disadvantages in terms of the locality, electricity, traffic, water supply etc? Please do give me the honest insight into localities in south Delhi so I can be better oriented as I move
