Funny things happened with my eyes when I visited Delhi for the first time last year, now when I think about it, but irl it’s concerning

The first day I was constantly cleaning my glasses. I thought they are foggy or dirty, I washed them and cleaned them with the special cleaning cloth too, they looked spotless but when I put them on, i couldn’t see clearly,, that’s when i realized that’s just how the air is in Delhi, you can’t really see clearly. The other thing is that my eyes were constantly burning and watering. I thought it’s something to do with makeup, or contacts, so I was putting eye drop etc.. but still they kept on burning.. when I mentioned this to the relatives I was visiting they didn’t understand what I was saying.. So one of them from Delhi visited me last week, ( in the US) and as soon as we get out of the airport he goes, woah why is everything so bright.. why is the sky so bright today.. I was like what are you saying.. he goes no mean why is everything so bright and shiny, I need sunglasses.. it’s hurting my eyes.. It was a lightbulb moment for both of us
