World is ending? Need suggestions

My friend M watches a lot of Hollywood movies and has now come up with a theory that something strange and catastrophic is going to happen in the coming month as a fish called Sea Devil who usually stay 4-5km inside water has now risen up suggesting that something is coming up. Shall I stop his Netflix subscription or defend him like the meme template?
