Went to Mirza's Haveli and it is quite something.

Went with a friend to Mirza Ghalib's Haveli at Chandi Chowk yesterday. Today is Mirza's B'Day so thought of posting. Showed my friend his sher, focussed on: ye kahāñ kī dostī hai ki bane haiñ dost nāseh koī chārasāz hotā koī ġham-gusār hotā And then, ye na thī hamārī qismat ki visāl-e-yār hotā agar aur jiite rahte yahī intizār hotā And she said,"seems like a loner". "Isn't every writer a loner, except comedians ofcourse". Fellas, what are your views on writers and which is his ghazal/sher/rubai/marsia/sehra/Qasida that you like the most?
