Went for a 10k run today. First of this year!
My Last 10k run was back on 30th November 2024, which was a first ever for me. I have been running 3-4 kms just to add some cardio in the routine since mine is a desk job. But recently Ive realised that such longer distances runs are therapeutic for me. For me it helps me to dig deep into my inner self, specially when all the pain and self doubts starts to creep in. On the way I saw a group of younger runners running on the other side of the road and man their pace and stride was very good. For one day in a week, I felt a little different, just because of totally different set of circumstances and people. Fun Fact - Thought to end my run at Kutty’s South Indian restaurant near Jantar Mantar to have some snacks, only to find out that they are closed on Sundays 🤣4
