Messed up badly. Need help.
Left my job without any other job offer in hand a year ago to fix my health, and find better paying job. Fast forward a year later: Unemployed and drowning in debt. I was working as a Team Leader in a BPO. Now my monthly EMIs are about the salary I was earning a year ago. Had to take loans to stay afloat. Then had to take more loans from NBFCs to pay EMIs for loans I had to take earlier. My plan was to look for non-BPO/high paying jobs and after getting a job I'll get a loan from Bank (need salary slip/income proof to get lower interest) and then I'll close other (very high interest) loans. I'm applying to jobs on job portals but hardly getting calls for interview. Getting calls for online courses, fraud WFH opportunities, MLM referrals, and everything except calls from actual recruiters. Almost all of the leads I'm getting for jobs are paying (much) less than what I used to get. I'm looking for a salary range where I can atleast pay all my EMIs and rent. I initially thought I should be able to get a job after 3 months and in worst case scenario in 6 months after leaving job. It's been a year. I messed up, badly. The leap of faith I took is turning out to be deadly and I'm losing faith. I live with my mom and seeing her worry about the situation makes me feel very guilty. She is even asking relatives if someone can refer me. Shared resume and endured taunts but received 0 calls from recruiters. I'm now getting tired, scared, and confused. I don't know how I can turn things around. I'm trying but it seems it isn't enough. I am now here to seek your help. Any help/guidance/advice is appreciated. If there are openings in your organization and you can refer me, please let me know. I'd be grateful. Thank you.3
