I got challaned for crossing stop line
I am usually a careful driver, driving at below 60 in Delhi, with ASL(Automatic speed limiter). Do not usually change lanes, try to follow as many traffic norms as possible in the chaotic traffic of Delhi. In this case, I was a bit late in stopping on red light, as the light was still yellow and it took a moment for me to arrive at a decision. I stopped, but alas, I got on the Zebra Crossing. And I was fined. Now, I have already paid the challan but this bothers me, as this crossing, that I am fined for overlapping, this leads on to nothing. Just the median and the metro pillar. No person crosses from this side of the road. Shouldn't the infra be updated? Second, my phone number is updated and I get the info through that but somehow, the Delhi traffic notice department only sends message when they send the challan in court. This happened in August and I get the message now that the case has been sent to court. "Challan" as a word is still okay, but "Court" somehow instigates panic in people.5
