I am a guy, and was assaulted in an overnight bus to Delhi

I was returning from a trip back to Delhi late in the night, in a semi sleeper bus, was tired from the day activities and was in deep sleep. As the natural REM cycle goes, I think I had an erection and I was dreaming something I don’t really remember. I felt someone pressing my crotch again and again, but I was in deep sleep, it didn’t feel too real and felt like a dream. It happened again and I suddenly woke up with a jolt. I saw the guy, about 22 in age, in front of me pull his hand back and his seat a little forward. I was confused, and being woken up so suddenly, I thought I saw a dream and felt a little conflicted on what was going on. I felt a bit of disdain and I wanted to create a scene but I wasn’t very sure. In order to confirm my suspicions, I leaned myself a bit forward and I closed my eyes a little. Soon enough, the guy noticed, and kept moving and looking with a side eye, adjusted his seat and he put his hand out again. In that moment, I caught his hand and was about to make a scene, almost shouted something but couldn’t and I just pushed him away from me. He quickly withdrew and went to sleep. All I could feel in that moment is disdain and the uninvited guilt and so many confusing feelings. The regret of not being able to do anything in the moment came swiftly and I lost all my sleep. I felt assaulted and I couldn’t do anything about it. I have always disliked this city, and I just hate it so much more now. I am not sure how to even get over this, so I writing this here to just vent it out.
