Clearing Gazipur landfill should #1 priority for Delhi; yet, it's on no one's radar

Literally mountain of unprocessed trash, with trucks just throwing more and more. Leachate just leaking into soil, polluting everything. Frequent fires and a mega-disaster in making. It's literally expanding with no end in sight. Landfill is supposed to be insulated from ground using special materials, and when it's filled, it needs to closed to ensure that no pollutants leak out. So it's not a landfill in any sense. Clearing this site and having more sustainable solution should #1 priority. It should be bigger than any road or flyover or a freebie. Yet, it's not even on anyone's radar. People just drive by looking at it in amusement. Pretty sad state of affairs.
