Back exams in college?"

So ima first year student at GEU and I’m kinda stressed ‘cause I think I might get a back in my first sem, in C practical and maybe theory too. Is this normal, or am I just overthinking? Also, does having a back mess up your degree or future prospects? Need some advice fr.
