Hello fellow members of the human race I'm planning to visit dehradun for couple of days suggest some road trips or scenic points that I should visit to get breathtaking views (and is there someplace where can I see the whole dehradun at night?) and is mussoorie at this time worth it ?

People asking for money in our property

So today a person stepped into our property and came to the house entrance playing his dhol loudly without our permission and was asking for money. I did not answer the door out of spite, he was continuously playing for 10 mins and then he left. Was it the right thing to do or I should have given him 10-20 rupees? and is this common in Dehradun?

Interning in ONGC Dehradun - Need Advice on Travel and Affordable Accommodation as a first time traveller.

I'm traveling to Dehradun for the first time this February as part of my internship and will be visiting the **Institute of Drilling Technology Kaulagarh**. I'll be arriving at Dehradun Airport. Can anyone guide me on the best way to reach the institute from there? Also, I'll be staying for about 6-7 days and need budget-friendly accommodation. Any recommendations for places to stay nearby? I am planning to visit in a few days and wanted to know how safe is it for a female travelling on a scooty ? I go to mussoorie and stuff all the time but it will be a first to go to rishikesh alone on my scooty . I will be going in the morning and coming back by afternoon . I have the necessary precautionary stuff like pepper spray , alarm etc but still .
