Best Way to come to Dehradun from Delhi for travelling(not originally from delhi)

Hi Everyone, I am looking for the best and the cheapest way to travel dehradun from delhi most preferrably from bus Can anyone suggest me some ways (I am not from delhi) so that i wont get scammed. My travelling date is 30 jan 2025 Should i book my tickets from now or some other time I will be coming from train to delhi then i will go to dehradun (train also may get late so please suggest) me the best options.

first time trekking, dayar bagyal trek

it will be my first time trekking, so i have a few doubts: 1) i will be going with a stranger group, no friends. is it a good decision? 2) i tend to get sickness in hilly areas, what if i cause trouble to others in my group? 3) the package is of 7000rs, but i will hv to spend on exclusions: trekking essentials+meals in transit which leads me to a total of 10000rs approx. is it a decent budget or am i overspending?

Any apartments with central heating?

Recently moved from Bangalore to Dehradun with two young kids. Took apartment in windlass River Valley. However, they have very stringent electricity use, and I cannot have heating in all the rooms. (It trips, electricity because there is a limit of how much each apartment can use.) are there any apartments in Dehradun with central heating? It sure does get very cold here!

What's the best time to visit Mussoorie to experience a snowfall!?

I work in Delhi, the usual 9 to 5 (which is definitely not how it sounds, iykwim) and so it's tough taking out time to travel. The aim is to experience a snowfall every winter and so we often try to rush to Mussoorie. But honestly, I'm 0 for 5 in the past 3 years. And even before that, I've only found a teensy bit of snow up there. Can any of the native pahadi peeps let me know what's the perfect time to experience and actual legit snowfall...

I plan to book a group tour starting from Dehradun, so I will travel from Delhi in the car and park the car for 3 to 4 days in Dehradun. So, do we have a safe place in Dehradun where cars can be parked for 3 to 4 days?

View from the house. Anyone up for a snow run to Mussorie tomorrow at 5?

I live at Guniyal Gaon. If anyone's up for it, tomorrow morning is the time to do it. Vehicles will pile up beyond belief after 9 AM. Date of travel - 28th Dec 24. Time - 5/6 AM. Return by 10 AM. Go early.. Chill. Carry chai. I'll be driving a 4x4. Room for 2.
