Crypto.com withdraws its SEC lawsuit on the day CEO meets President Elect at Mar-a-Lago

[Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) stated that it withdrew the lawsuit because the exchange wants to work with the new administration to improve the regulation of the crypt industry. It is possible that [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) has, based on comms with the regulator or the upcoming administration, assessed that the likelihood of regulatory action as a follow-up to the Wells Notice has decreased sufficiently enough to warrant a different approach. According to its roadmap, [Crypto.com](http://Crypto.com) is about to launch a US exchange in Q1 2025 and has recently acquired an SEC-registered broker to expand its business to equities offerings.
