Are we being tricked?

Is it possible the incoming administration is punking us with all the good news? We are getting signs, and gains, leading us to believe things are going to go very very big.. But would it be possible for it to be a big trick? Some of the old money has slowly and begrudgingly come around to crypto.., but if these incoming criminals are willing to rshort the future to score a bag, and then hand us back to the old guard after cryptos burned, could they..? Are we being pumped with good news while its being prepared for a regulatory rugpull and shorts when they are in charge? I could believe either scenario, but i wonder how much damage they couldndo without the plans already being noticed .. It feels like theyd make more by playing along, but im curious if a double cross is even feasible.. Is this enough characters...?, cuz i know for absolute sure not one person on this sub is reading this far....
