Visiting the city, need suggestions!!! Also, wanna join in for a movie??

I am a Mangalorean myself and love visiting Coimbatore. I am here until tomorrow night and want to try the local food and coffee. I did like a few cafes in my previous visits, but loved Annapoorna, Ananda's and Junior Kuppanna. If you have any personal favourites , please suggest. Would love to try. Also planning to watch a Tamil movie for a single screen experience. If you want to join in please do, would love a chat.
