How to start as a beginner?

Hello mates! I am currently rated 393 on chess.com. I have been playing chess for a while but I don't play online matches as I get scared that my rating will fall off. Well that's not the issue, I want to improve my game really well. I would love to know your suggestions ans everything.I watch gotham chess sometimes and play with my dad irl. Help this beginner out!!!!!
