Root canal treatment

Hey everyone, I recently visited a nearby dental hospital for a root canal, and they quoted me 5k for the procedure itself. On top of that, the crown prices start at 5k, but they didn’t clearly mention the final cost, as it depends on the type of crown I choose. I’m not sure if this is a reasonable price or if they’re overcharging. Has anyone here undergone a root canal recently? How much did you pay, and where did you get it done? Also, any recommendations for good dental hospitals with transparent pricing and quality treatment would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
