Rapido showing no service available in your area.

Has auto Annas won the war between bike and auto taxi? Today I tried to take a rapido from CMBT metro to thirumangalam unfortunately the app showed no service is available in your area. And I had to pay 120 rupees for the auto anna. What happened?
