Need someone to temporarily house my injured stray cat (but friendly)

He has hurt it's paw badly and the vet asked me to keep him indoors till his wound heals. You can't cover his wound as it will lead to "necrosis" due to lack of air and also it shouldn't come into contact with dirt. My parents are not allowing for me to keep him inside temporarily. I am very much worried of his health. Due to them not allowing me to keep him inside, my dad and I have tied a small loose socks around his paw so that dirt can't enter. The vet have given us spray which we have to spray on its wound twice a day. It's been really difficult changing his sock daily (he cries). If anyone can house him for a few days (1 week maybe) till his wound is somewhat healed, I would be extremely grateful. Please help me guys..
