LGBT in Chennai

Hi, I’ve had a search and I don’t think this has been covered recently. I (male, 43) will be travelling to Chennai with my husband over Christmas later this year. I appreciate there are probably no bars or places that are specifically LGBT focussed, but does anyone know of any bars/places currently open that would be good to visit or where feel safer for LGBT? ChatGPT seems to suggest names of places that I can’t seem to find on google, so perhaps not open anymore? Thinking of staying in the Nungambakkam area, I’ve read this area and T Nagar may be more cosmopolitan? Any other general tips for a holiday in Chennai are also welcomed 😄 Thank you!
