Chennai Airport Domestic Arrival

I m going to pickup my friend from airport with my own car (white board). I have heard that the recent changes of arrival is fucked up. Can someone educate me for smooth pickup process, like where should I wait, or can I park inside, or can i just go directly to the T2 and wait there.
