Amazon delivery partnered with other courier companies

Has amazon partnered recently with other courier and packers like professional and bluedart for delivering goods? Recently I got two of my Amazon orders delivered by professional couriers and bluedart. Heard from a friend that they will be doing this in urban cities. Is this implemented long back or anyone experienced the same.
