I came across this today, and it's infuriating. People are just hammering flag poles into the pavement with a kadaparai, completely damaging the surface. This isn't just an eyesore; it weakens the pavement, causes cracks, and makes the whole area look rundown. Who's responsible for fixing this? The authorities won't bother, and soon enough, the pavement will be filled with potholes and uneven surfaces. All for the sake of temporary flags!
