Need to get in contact with someone coming to Chennai from the US this month

Basically I'm in college 2nd year right now. My 15 year old hand me down laptop that I had been using since 10th, just stopped working. We didn't wanna bother fixing it, it was bound to happen anytime. Anyways, my dad said he will arrange something through his company to get a laptop from the US! Since its the holiday season also now, we figured we would easily find a friend or relative coming here, but we couldn't. I asked my college groups, friends and a few of them did have friends/relatives coming to India, but they all came early December, and it was too late. So I'm coming to reddit as a last resort, although everyone here is a stranger, I know most of y'all are nice people :) Please do ask around and help me out, it's been pretty hard without a laptop.
