Young Sikh guy looking for socializing in Chennai.

Vanakam peoples! I'm a 19yr old Sikh (Punjabi turban guy) living in chennai. Although I have strong roots here (my amma is from here), I have started to live here only from the past 3 months. Otherwise, I used to keep visiting my amma's relatives every year all my life. I want to make new friends here, and I am searching for clubs or meet ups or dating meetups, or just hangouts, anything where I can socialize with someone new. My tamil is little weak, although I can speak little and understand. I can't speak punjabi. (Kept shifting around in many places, never lived in punjab for more than 1.5 yrs). I can speak hindi, english, gujurati, and malayalam (my malayalam is better than tamil, but still not strong, only ok ok). My interests are film (cinephile here BIG ONE, infact), I love reading, I love swimming (played state level) and big foodie also. Please help me make friends or meet new people. EDIT: I live near ECR.
