Once again TN police showed their ineptness by leaking the FIR copy and exposing the Victims name, parents, address. Gross misconduct from the police department. No one will take accountability for the above mistake. It just proves, we are just a third world with no repercussions for blatant procedural violation. Previously, It happened in Pollachi Sexual abuse case where a learned senior police officer published the names of the complainants openly. Consequence: Sexual Assault reporting will reduce further. Trust on law enforcement will decrease. We can claim TN ranks low in sexual assault against women.
