Rant: MASALA DOSA

Why the fork is masala dosa bad in the past few years?? I miss the ones I used to have as a kid. It all went downhill when Hotel SB mandated "25 gms" masala on all masala dosas. It was so strange when I was told that first and thought the waiters were making stuff up but apparently not. The good masala dosas of current times are basically average masala dosas of the past. Or maybe I am the cursed one and I can't find any good ones.
