National Common Mobility (NCMC) card. Do you use it? Questions.

So, ministry along with RuPay, has introduced the NCMC (National Common Mobility) card , which they say will allow us to use this same card in most of the Indian cities’ transport like Metro and Bus. Apparently it can also function like a normal card to buy e-commerce , grocery and stuff as this is in partnership with Rupay. My questions are: how many of you use this in Chennai? Is it working as expected in Metro and MTC? Do MTC bus conductors accept this, even for deluxe / non deluxe / AC buses? What if the bus is crowded? Is it hassle free to recharge? From what I read, it says I can recharge online, but need to go to a metro station kiosk to get the recharged amount applied to the card? That’s a deal breaker right? There are several NCMC cards provided by banks/ companies. Which one is the best?
