Must have and game changing household appliances for a house in Chennai

Vanakkam makkale! I have recently started to earn( has been an year). Have saved up few lakhs worth of emergency fund and am also readily investing every month. Thinking to buy few household appliances for my home to give it a modern make Over but also add a level of comfort to my grandparents with whom I live. What are few household appliances/things that yall think are a must have/great to have for an Indian/tamil household. For eg: a dishwasher. This is a real game changer. It frees up soo much time and effort for us and the water consumption is also pretty less in comparison to house washing. Thanks!
