Google Drive shows empty. Why?

I have stored a lot of important pictures in a Google drive. I opened it today and the whole drive is empty (it had multiple folders and sub-folders). I definitely didn't delete it. I checked the trash, nothing. Has anyone faced this issue? How to recover it? It had such valuable pictures :(
