Close Call - Phone Theft

Two friends and I were waiting at Egmore for bus to Marina. I was looking at bus numbers on my phone and 40A came. I put the phone on my right trouser pocket. When we about to get in, a guy blocked the passage, and as I entered I felt someone's hand at my pocket. Phone fell down. It was hefty so sound was loud, I took it as fast as I could. The thing is the guy who entered bus without me (white shirt with bag) and the guy who blocked the bus passage (checked black shirt) got down through other door. Was it a close call? Both of them looked like a college students. Has anyone ever entered these two people at egmore?
