14 days in Chennai in March, anything I need to know?
Hey everyone! Apologies if this post goes against the rules (I did read them), but I’ll be in Chennai for work in the medical field for two weeks and was hoping to get some tips for a foreign visitor. I’ll be staying at a hotel near my workplace in central Chennai. From what I’ve read online, most places accept credit cards, and my card offers fair exchange rates, so I’d prefer to avoid cash or use as little as possible, just like I do in my place of residence. How practical is that in Chennai? Also, if I’m using Uber or auto-rickshaws to get around, how much traffic should I expect? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am traveling from a country which doesn’t have any city as big as Chennai, so general advice would also be welcome. Edit: I don’t have an Indian bank account nor a sim.3
