Another Lonely New Year

New Year’s here, but nothing’s changed for me. I have a job, sure, but no friends to celebrate with. I’m just sitting at home quietly with zero plans, probably going to munch on a bag of chips while scrolling my phone. The FOMO is real, and it’s hitting hard. It’s not like I’ve ever had a solid friend group anyway. I keep wondering, why don’t I deserve one? Most of my time is spent alone. At midnight, when the world erupts in cheer, I’ll be sitting in my room silently, wishing I had someone to share the moment with.
