Nani ji’s love for deceased Nana ji

Sharing an incident with you all. Yesterday nani ji came to visit us . she lives at 8 hours distance from us,she’s in her 80s. Still managed to come alone to meet us. When she reached our hometown she asked a stranger for help. She specifically told him to help her cross the road without touching her. We would’ve reached at bus stand but she didn’t tell us and gave us surprise. She narrated us this so we asked her why you didn’t let him to touch you? You are of his grand mother age. She said I would love to come under a vehicle than holding hands with any man. She further told us she used to hate when any other man except nana ji looked at her. She said she only liked to dress up when nana ji was at home. It was not like they were all lovie dovie. Nana ji was a tough tall man,still the amount of respect she has for him is enormous. He was in armed forces. Hearing all this from her I went speechless. The point of sharing this story is how weak is loyalty and love nowadays.
