  • An Outsider's Review of His Favourite Chandigarh Food Places 🍴

Hi, I came from NCR and stayed in Panchkula for about 10 days, and here's all of the food I had, ranked top to bottom. 1. Karthik South Indian Restaurant - 10* - sector 47 Liked it so much I went here thrice, all the way from Panchkula. Genuinely great joint. Run by Tamil family. 2. Baba Chicken - 10* - sector 26 I think this was the best butter chicken I ever had, thanks Reddit for suggesting it to me earlier. 3. Brother's Amritsari Kulcha Hub - 10* - sector 9 I have had this during earlier visits to Chandigarh too, never disappoints. 4. Vishal Dairy - 10* - sector 13 Panchkula Amazing lassi. Btw it's in conjusted roads so I don't think bringing car here is very feasible. 5. Little Idli - 8* - sector 14 Panchkula Very cute ambience with very different flavours from what we're used to. Very nice. Run by people from Banglore, and he said all chef are South Indian. 6. Hot Feast - 7* - sector 16 Panchkula Good taste. 7. Burgrill - 7* - Swiggy Got a good discount lol. 2 burger for 150 rs., and for that price the taste was unbeatable. Besides this I found some cute cafes etc. in the Dharampur-Kasauli region. Here are 2 of my fav from there. 1. Gargi's Siddu Cafe & German Bakery Really innovative menu (siddu burger, dumpling pasta, mutton siddu, etc.) and good quality. Amazing ambience. Bonus - just a little ahead on the same road is a small chai spot by the name of Gramin's cafe. Waha ka sunset view is unbeatable. 2. Hotel Sunrise Cottage Glass box cafe, very cute. Ginger chai me proper amount of ginger daala tha, and I don't like it any other way. Thanks Chandigarh for nice recommendations. Agli baar aaunga to aur bhi try karunga lol. Btw feel free drop your fav spots in comments. 👋
