Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo 1.0 AT- 3 months, 6,000 kms done, love this car! Here are some pictures
I bought a Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo 1.0L Automatic. It’s only been three months, and I’ve already driven it 6,000 km—well, half of that was my brother since I don’t take it to the office much. So, most of the time, it just sits parked. But honestly, no complaints so far. Before buying, I did a ton of research, checked out and test-drove every car in this price range, and finally settled on this one. Even though it makes just 114-115 BHP, it feels quick and fun to drive. On highways, cruising at 120 km/h (on expressways) is effortless. For some reason, the moment I got into this car, it gave me NFS Underground/NFS Most Wanted vibes. Every time I take it out, I just want to have fun. I have to remind myself not to go all out and drive rashly. It’s got the same kind of thrill as the Duke 390. That said, there are a few things Skoda could’ve done better. The brakes feel a bit soft—rear disc brakes would’ve made a big difference. The infotainment system could’ve been smoother, and the interior quality isn’t quite what I’d expect from Skoda. Also, they could’ve easily tuned the engine to make 130 BHP ( or can they????) because after 150 km/h, it starts to feel a little strained. But yeah, as much fun as it is, always drive safe, follow traffic rules, and don’t go beyond speed limits. Here are some pictures I took:3
