My Kia seltos GTx met with a terrible accident and I can't thank the car enough .. I have been to Goa enough times in the last 15 yrs and never had a single episode. This is my first major crash in life and one with no fault of mine! At around 3.30 AM today, while returning from Goa, Google redirected me from the Mum-Goa highway to the Mum-blr highway. It made me divert from near Pali towards the Imagica exit of the expressway. This is a single lane highway, I was holding my lane and cruising at about 60-70 odd. At a blind turn a tempo traveller came overtaking a ST bus and into my lane leaving me no choice but to take the car off road and into the bushes before I eventually hit a parked truck. Had I possibly kept forward collision braking on, it might have possibly stopped but that's a what if, I'll never know. Ofcourse the ST bus and tempo guy absoconded and I was left to pay damaged to the truck guys. If it hadn't been for the safety of Kia , I could've sies tonight. But I live to tell the tale and thank Kia for their wonderful roadside assistance and services as well as a wonderfully safe car. The seltos has 5 star safety rating from me. And so does kia. My car is in transit to the service center. What's the best course of action from here and what expenditure can I expect ? Would you'll recommend selling the car looking at the damages ?
