I know Akshay Kumar was just brilliant in Bhool Bhulaiyaa & there should not have been another actor to continue it further but I feel Ayushmann Khurrana would have been the better fit from younger gen over Kartik Aaryan. No hate to KA but I think AK would have handled humour & depth better.
