Are there any Indian movies that are an actual musical?

I'm a westerner that watches a lot of Indian movies, and I've notice that despite how prevalent musical numbers are in Indian cinema, I've yet to see an Indian musical. In Western musicals, the musical numbers drive the story and used every time there is a strong emotional beat. But this rarely seems to the case in Indian movies. Most of the strong emotional beats in Indian movies are done through dialogue, and the only time musical numbers tend to be used for emotional moments are when it's for...

What romcom's lead pairs do you find cozy and watchable?

I think 2 States and Hasee Toh Phasee both had lead characters who are very fun and watchable on the screen. You feel giddy watching their scenes and like to re-watch their scenes later. Salman Sonali in Hum Sath Sath Hain is also a good example. What are some such other pairs for you?

Are bollywood actors at the same level of hollywood??

Disclaimer: In no way I am comparing both the industries. I have always seen people on youtube, insta and reddit claiming that Bollywood actors (likes of SRK, Aamir, Ajay, Akshay, Jaideep, Randeep, etc) are really good but no way near to the actors like Leonardo, Matthew, Cillian, etc. However, I often think that we have never made movies with character arcs as deep as shutter island, interstellar, oppenheimer, etc. The most we have gotten so far are movies like FAN, MNIK, Paatal Lok, Baby, Talaash where actors got the chance...

Anybody else feels like Rocky and Rani was too preachy and fake?

So, I watched Rocky and Rani and there was something really off about the movie despite it being technically not bad. I can't pinpoint it exactly but I think it felt like trying very hard at convincing us to take different messages but the execution was very bad. For example, 1- Rani being shown as a strong woman in the beginning is too performative. Rani finding Rocky hot was also fake. It literally felt like the director saying that "look, we are so progressive. We have flipped the gender...

Watched Maine Pyar Kiya after a long time. Here's my thoughts

**What a sweet film. Simple, linear, homely.** Absolute basic template nepo launch for Salman Khan \- he can romance \- he's so handsome \- he can do action \- he can do emotion I wouldn't say it was a "good" performance, just adequate. Bhagyshree delivered what was needed - a whole lot of sweetness. It's a shame she decided to stop acting p much after marriage. For me though, the best performance was Alok Nath. His character had a whole journey and the range of emotions was portrayed well....
