Watched the Family Man S1, slightly confused about the ending.

At the end, we see one of the tanks reach their limit and the lid flies off, as Milind and Zoya have given up hope in the battle in the factory. On the other hand, Tiwari and JK see Moosa dead, and are convinced that Mission Zulfiqar has failed. Now, I wanna know a few things before I watch season 2. If the gas truly leaked, did Delhi survive? And if yes, then how? Also, do they show Jonali use the evidence that Kareem was baselessly killed by Tiwari at all in S2? I read somewhere that Zoya got paralyzed and Milind was traumatized, but that's all.
