Please help me find this movie

It's about a police officer investigation the death of a guy which is later revealed that he was killd by his gf who laced a notebook with poison and sent it to him. The police officer figures it out when his dog dies by licking the same notebook. It's an Indian movie but not sure from which industry. It was released around 2020
