Do you think he could've been a hero?

Rajat Bedi, the winner of the first season of Gladrags in 1994 has always been a good looking actor with a great personality. He is quite tall and has a great physique. He is known for playing negative/Shady roles in movies like International Khiladi, Chor machaye shor, The super famous Koi... mil gaya and the infamous Jaani Dushman (सबकी इज्जत करेंगे तो लूटेंगे किसकी💀). I remember his first movie, 2001: do hazaar ek, came out in 1998. He played the lead and worked with some of the well known actors of that time like Jackie Shroff, Dimple Kapadia, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Mohan Joshi, Suresh Oberoi, Gulshan Grover; Romanced with Tabu (तू कातिल तेरा दिल कातिल). The movie was an action suspense thriller which didn't work on the box office, there after he mostly did negative roles. I personally feel, if he was pushed more as a hero, he could've been a more recognised face like Milind Soman and Dino Moreya. What are your thoughts?
