Why didn't Laila go as "crazy" in love like Qais did?

Saw Laila Majnu for the second time and may have teared up a bit here and there(Also because of Avinash's performance) But why didn't Laila go as 'crazy' as he did,why is it that he couldn't wait to be with her any more while she could? Towards the end,as she saw him in that state,as she hears him say that he sees Laila everywhere,she says to her friend(who it seems had nothing else to do than fix Laila's dupattas😂) that qais has moved somewhere way ahead and now she should/needs to move towards there too. I suppose she was referring to qais' love that had transcended everything,he didn't need her around anymore to feel that she was with him,but why hadn't Laila's love transcended everything and reached that stage too? Why was she able to be 'sane',even care about what others thought?about what was 'proper'?
