Here’s my dream cast and theme
Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh puri qayanat use tumse milane ki koshish me lag jaati hai. With that hope I really want to see these actors work together someday. 1. Vicky Kaushal - Man has range, and by now is well-recognized too. But I want him to revisit his energy from Raman Raghav and play a negative role/morally ambiguous role 2. Vijay Varma - I love how menacing he is as an antagonist, but I’d like to see more of Vijay as a straight arrow! Or even an innocent soul 3. Jaideep Ahlawat - Cop, genius, gangster; everything he’s done leaves a mark. I’d like to see a softer and maybe even a sleeker portrayal from him (attorney maybe? IDK) 4. Shefali Shah - Again, so versatile. But I don’t think she’s ever played anything negative or something like a powerful matriarch. I know she can pull off a morally grey role well. 5. Sanya Malhotra - I’d like to see her expand her quiver. Somehow, I can imagine her doing justice to awkward/goofy comedic role (think Kangana in Queen) 6. Alia Bhatt - Hear me out, I know this can be controversial but the box office pull that producers talk about can be boosted here. Alia has had good rapport with most costars and I believe she can mold herself as required. Is it practical to have a big celebrity not being the central role? I don’t know, but I can wish it. No historical dramas please, Indian directors tend to dumb all those characters down to a single note. Conspiracy, courtroom drama, slice of life or mystery - bring it on. What do y’all think ? Too delusional? Any changes?3
