Adding fuel to gender wars.

So with the recent streaming release of Mrs. There will be lots of posts about how realistic and great the movie is. Which i also agree with to a certain extent, but another thing I remembered while replying to someone else was a movie called “Amdani atthani kharcha rupaiya” which was made in 2001 that is like 24 years ago that is like quarter of a century ago. And it dealt with similar issues of men and women’s roles in household and progressing society, but it had a very moderate take and was also a comedy movie. And then i realised that the past is being shown in bad light, like you can find 10s of modern reviews of “Raja ki ayegi baraat” on YouTube showing how anti-feminism the past was, but movies like “Amdani atthani kharcha rupaiya” are never discussed in modern media, while movies creating gender divide are being made more and discussed a lot more, like Animal and Mrs. Also my core belief is mainstream movies are mostly propaganda and social engineering, so let’s discuss if there are any other patterns anyone has noticed.
