What’s up with Karanveer Mehra’s love towards Avinash Mishra?

I was a Karanveer fan since day 1. Even stayed his fan during his low phase but something about him this week turned me off and I couldn’t figure out what it was. Most of the people seem disappointed with Karanveer because of how he didn’t stand up for Digvijay but I realized that the biggest reason I’ve been turned off is because of his weird appreciation of Avinash every 10 mins. How he’s acting sounds like Stockholm Syndrome to me. “Avinash considers me as a big brother now”. Like really?! I understand Karan doesn’t know everything Avinash has said about him behind his back but he still treated him the worst out of everyone in the house. I feel like he secretly always wanted to be close to Avinash, he seems more affectionate towards him than he is to Digvijay or Chahat who actually stand up for Karan. I think Farah’s weekend ka vaar is the worst thing that would’ve happened to Karan’s game. I don’t think he will ever go back up from here considering less than 2 months left of the show.
