How to get a building plan approval in Bangalore?

Documents Required:

1. Address Proof

2. ID Proof

3. Betterment Fee paid Receipt

4. Encumbrance certificate (last 13 years)

5. Latest Khata Certificate

6. Latest Tax Paid Receipt

7. Possession Certificate

8. Sale Deed

9. Latest Katha Extract

10. Previous Sanction Plan for Upper Floors (if applicable)

Process:

1. Submit the application online:

- Enter the relevant details.

- Submit the required drawings and documents online.

2. Pay the scrutiny/processing charges:

- Pay 5 percent of the license fee towards scrutiny/processing charges online.

- Download the acknowledgment/receipt.

3. Site inspection:

- An engineer will visit and inspect the site.

4. Verification of drawings and documents:

- The submitted drawings and documents will be verified.

5. Approval decision:

- The competent authority will approve or reject the application.

6. Payment of Requisite Fee:

- If approved, a Demand Note will be issued for the payment of the Requisite Fee.
