How to apply for a caste certificate in Bangalore?
Step 1: Visit sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in and click on "Departments & Services".
Step 2: Select "Revenue Department" and choose "Caste Certificate". You can also use the search option to find it.
Step 3: Click on "Apply Online".
Step 4: Log in using your username, password/OTP, and captcha.
Step 5: Enter your Ration Card number or Aadhaar ID and click "Go".
Step 6: Fill in the required details. If the "On The Counter" (OTC) option is available, select "YES" and make the payment for an instant caste certificate.
Step 7: Provide applicant details if the OTC option is unavailable.
Step 8: Check the "I agree" checkbox, enter the Captcha Code, and click "Submit".
Step 9: Verify the filled form. If corrections are needed, click on the "Edit" option; otherwise, proceed to attach annexures.
Step 10: Click on "Attach Annexure" and upload the required annexures. Save the annexures.
Step 11: Displayed saved annexures, click on "eSign and Make Payment".
Step 12: Agree to user consent and eSign terms, select the authentication type, and click on "OTP".
Step 13: Enter your Aadhaar number and click on "Get OTP". Enter the OTP received and click on "Submit".
Step 14: Choose the mode of payment, enter payment details, and click on "Make Payment".
Step 15: After successful payment, a Sakala acknowledgment will be generated.
Step 16: To download the caste certificate, visit sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in, and click on "Registered Users Login Here".
Step 17: Enter your username, password/OTP, and captcha. Click on "Submit".
Step 18: Go to "View Status of Application" and click on "Track application status". Enter the Application Reference Number and click on "Get Data".
Step 19: Check the current status. If it shows "Delivered", click on "Delivered".
Step 20: Under "Issue Document(s)", click on "Output certificate".
Step 21: The caste certificate will be downloaded. You can print it if required.
